Sir Lothar's Death

My submission for Weekly Note Compsoing Jam #5.

For this, I worked outside of my comfort zone and wrote a classical piece which conveys both a feeling of sadness but also some heroic pathos to honour the fallen hero.

The scene I had in mind while writing was at the end of a battle. You see a flag flying in the wind, the camera pans around the fallen soldiers, some walk slowly and beaten through the dead, the sky is grey. Then the camera focusses slowly on our fallen hero. At the end, he gets carried from the battlefield by his brethren. 

Written in Ableton Live 12 with Spitfire Audio's LABS and BBC Symphony Orchestra, as well as Prototype Meyer Choir.
